Nestled in the heart of Studio City, Red Window Coffee is far more than your average coffee shop. At 13365 Ventura Blvd, this welcoming spot effortlessly blends cozy charm with a hint of modern sophistication, making it a beloved local haven for coffee aficionados and casual drinkers alike.
Step inside and you’ll immediately notice the thoughtfully curated ambiance, a seamless mix of old-school warmth and contemporary design. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back with your favorite brew or hunker down with your laptop, all while grooving to a carefully chosen soundtrack that perfectly complements the relaxed vibe. As Jeremy Davidson puts it, "the coffee is excellent as well. Music choice is the icing on top, great place to work."
The real star, of course, is the coffee itself. Red Window offers an impressive array of expertly crafted beverages that cater to every taste. Whether you’re in the mood for a smooth latte, a velvety cappuccino, or a refreshing cold brew iced coffee, these baristas know their craft. One customer’s glowing tribute to the maple flat white speaks volumes about the friendly and knowledgeable staff who take pride in personalizing your experience.
Pastry lovers will find themselves equally spoiled for choice. From flaky, buttery croissants to unique treats like the black sesame seed pastry and savory options such as pepperoni cheese danishes, Red Window’s food menu perfectly complements the coffee offerings, turning every visit into a delightful sensory journey. The balance of comfort and quality in every bite makes each moment here truly enjoyable.
Long-time patrons like Jacob Carmi have witnessed this community gem evolve from a modest "shack" to its current spacious and inviting location, proving just how much it means to locals. His praise of the shop’s ambiance – "the perfect mix of cozy, classy and groovy with a warm inviting atmosphere" – captures exactly why people keep coming back.
Even amid high praise, there’s honest feedback that speaks to the brand’s commitment to quality. One reviewer noted that the drip coffee was a bit watery but suggested that the espresso-based drinks shine above the rest. This transparent sentiment only adds credibility and encourages newcomers to try the espresso offerings, which have become the hallmark of Red Window’s reputation.
For those who cherish the ritual of savoring their coffee, Red Window Coffee is a sanctuary. It's not just about grabbing a caffeine fix — this is a place that invites you to slow down, enjoy every sip, and feel at home. With friendly service, expertly roasted beans, and a bowl of delicious pastries on the side, it’s a true Studio City gem waiting to be discovered time and time again.
Very chill vibe and I was able to order walking in right off the sidewalk. Everything I wanted and looking for. Barista was super friendly and made a delicious recommendation (maple flat white). Looking forward to visiting again.
Great small/cute place with nice service and cozy atmosphere. Drip coffee was on the watery and flavorless side, but am guessing that their espresso drinks are good.
Absolutely loveee the new space, very cozy feel and mix of old and modern design. Of course the coffee is excellent as well. Music choice is the icing on top, great place to work
Finally, the coffee shop that Sherman Oaks needed and wanted!! This place is the perfect mix of cozy, classy and groovy with a warm inviting atmosphere. Add to that some great coffee and a great selection of snacks and pastries to choose from. They used to be a small “shack” just down the road and their success was so great they decided to open up this large location. 10 out of 10 will be back!
Red Window never missed. My go-to is iced latte and it is always perfect. The baristas are friendly and the whole place has an easy neighborhood vibe that makes you want to come back. Perfect spot to grab a coffee and actually enjoy it instead of just chugging it and leaving. Solid go-to in Studio City.
This place is great! I’ve only stopped by one time, but the service was friendly and my coffee was ready quickly. There is a walk-up window, and there was only a small line. I ordered an iced americano. The espresso was tasty and strong without being bitter. I also got an almond croissant, which was delicious and was filled very generously. Next time I want to try one of their in-house food options, since the pastries are from a nearby bakery. I’m not sure about the parking, as I stopped by on a walk around the neighborhood, but there looked to be some street parking available on Ventura.
I moved into the neighborhood about six months ago and surprisingly didn’t know that I had a really great neighbor! I Looked this up because it was the only coffee shop (besides mainstream) open on the Saturday prior to 8 AM, which is hard to come by, andand have wonderful things to say about my experience with Red Window so far. The atmosphere is really sweet, boutique coffee vibes, a cute organic feel, and great tunes. From my few experiences there so far, staff has been really lovely
